Hello again!

Today is the big day! My eBook, Stress Less: A Wholistic Approach to Healing Adrenal Fatigue, is now available for purchase in my Etsy shop!

This book has been a labor of love for me. I started writing it when I was still struggling daily with exhaustion, caffeine & sugar cravings, and still attending school for massage therapy.

Just in case you missed it, HERE is a link to my adrenal fatigue story and HERE is the post from last week that explains some common signs and symptoms of adrenal fatigue.

Here is a snippet from the Introduction of the book…

“Healing from adrenal fatigue is about much more than just healing physical symptoms. Adrenal fatigue effects all parts of our lives – mental, emotional, spiritual, and of course, physical. Before we can begin to heal physically, we must first examine our mental, emotional, and spiritual stressors. It is often these aspects that are the most frequently overlooked when healing physically, but they play a significant role in how & why our physical symptoms manifest themselves.

This book aims to bring together these deceptively separate parts of ourselves to embrace fully integrated healing.”

And that is the book in a nutshell!

I am a firm believer that our body’s know what we need to heal, if only we’d get quiet/still enough to listen and receive. Embracing that, I offer multiple suggestions for getting to know yourself better via your journal. I encourage you throughout the book to trust your gut, listen to your intuition, and stick to your guns even if society or your doctor is brushing off your symptoms and concerns.

YOU are your own best doctor. YOU know your body better than anyone else on this earth. YOU are fully capable of taking charge of your healing and becoming your own best advocate.

What People Are Saying…

“I’ve always struggled with energy. Even in my 20s I easily slept 12 hours and still felt exhausted and unable to focus. Doctors say I’m perfectly healthy and there is no physical cause for the fatigue. I just assumed that was natural for me.

In her book, Erin outlines simple and natural ways to help you take care of your body. She also explains the science behind what is happening. Within a couple of weeks of using just a few of her suggestions, I could feel a difference in my energy and my mental/emotional state. Her information even helped me identify some foods that were making me feel worse. I have no doubt that if I’m seeing even a small difference from the few changes I’ve implemented I know the rest of her suggestions will also help me to feel even better each day.

If you are suffering from unexplained fatigue or just want to learn how to better care for yourself naturally this book is a great resource to help you get started making healthy changes.” -Belinda Birrer

“Erin writes with such compassion and understanding, and from a place of deeply knowing her subject. At no point did I feel patronised or spoken down to as I have found in so many ‘health’ books.

The steps are really simple to implement too, whilst some take more time and planning, all are truly achievable if you want to go on this journey of healing.

I often feel overwhelmed when reading books of this ilk but the way it’s laid out meant I could start to work at my own pace and I feel compelled to keep up the journey.

Easy enough to read in just two hours but packed with a lifetimes worth of eloquent advice, this book is a gold mine of practical ideas to help you to help yourself. Highly recommended.” -Mrs. N Downes, Wales, U.K.

“Reading Erin’s book, Stress Less, was like having her sitting at my dining room table chatting with a close friend. She not only walks you through how to deal with adrenal fatigue but how to show & give yourself self-care.

I appreciate that she gives resources and points you to extra articles to dive deeper into the topic.

Erin doesn’t give a “you MUST do this” list in order to feel good. She walks through the steps that she personally has taken on her path to feeling well, and gives many examples of ways to care for yourself. She often makes sure to point out that you know your body best (and if you feel you DON’T know your body, she gives tips on helping you listen to what your body is telling you!).
Personally, just taking Erin’s advice on slowing down, noticing, and jotting down a few notes in my journal on how my body is reacting each day has been a huge eye opener. From that seemingly simple step I am beginning to take steps towards living a healthier life.
I can’t recommend Erin’s book enough. It truly is the next best thing to sitting down with her in person. She is knowledgeable and personable and her words convey how much she wants to help YOU the reader feel better and be at your most optimal health possible!”   -Jen Precourt
